Pinole Blue is food company that brings back traditions and history through heritage ancestry foods while uniting cultures.
Eddie started Pinole Blue after winning the New Venture competition at his university. Shortly after graduating with his business Finance degree Eddie pursued it full time.
Since the day I started Pinole Blue we have pledged to donate part of our sales back to the Tarahumara or Raramuri Indigenous community in Chihuahua, Mexico. My parents grew up on cattle ranches near this region so my entire life I was able to see with my own eyes their lack of resources and their amazing running abilities. This community run 50-100 miles in the mountains with sandals made from tire while consuming pinole with water. Since I have family still in the area we have been able to partner at the local level at some communities with sponsoring food drives and even employment opportunities for the women artisans who make bracelets.
