Patterbar
Patterbar is a whole-food, nutrient-dense energy bar made in Denver, Colorado by a female-owned family-run company, whose mission is convenient, clean energy without compromise. Patter used to make these bars for her children because she couldnโt find snacks with whole-food ingredients. In 2018, her athletic son-in-law encouraged her to produce and sell them as there was nothing else like them on the market. When Patter says Patterbars are just food, she mean it: every single ingredient in her bar is 100% pure food. We are committed to 100% transparency for our ingredients and dedicated to quality and taste.
Patter Gersuk earned a Master's in Public Administration at Columbia University and worked in marketing and public relations for many years. She trained at Le Cordon Bleu and worked as a sous chef in a small restaurant in Northern California. After a move to Boston, She began teaching cooking classes at Williams Sonoma. She worked again as a sous chef in a gluten-free restaurant, and then started a business teaching cooking classes in my home. Her passion to teach people about food was solidified as a staff educator at Whole Foods. She started Patterbar in 2018 with the idea that clean, delicious food should be available to everyone.
We are regularly asked to donate bars to various causes or events in the Denver area. While we cannot commit to all, we do supply a small number with free product for attendees. Most recently, we provided product to an individual training for a bicycle race raising money for mental health awareness.
We would love to be able to provide more support to causes that are important to us and our community. When we are able to do so, this will include donating product to events and individuals. One day, we hope to be able to commit financial resources to JEDI initiatives.
We supply our products to zero waste stores and grocers. We are currently seeking to expand this line of our wholesale clients.
We don't have fair trade certification, however use fair trade when we are able. Specifically, for our chocolate/cacao products. Our goal is to have these certifications in the future.
